Hammers rule out controversial managerial option

|

West Ham have no intention – even if they need to sack David Moyes – of replacing him with Jose Mourinho.

Speculation has been rife that the not so special one wants a return to the Premier League although Chelsea would be his first choice.

However with Moyes currently under pressure at West Ham the guy has been linked with a move to the London Stadium as an alternative option.

We can reveal though  he has never been in the frame as far as the club is concerned after a series of management spells which didn’t end well.

And a key contact at the Hammers made it clear that he has never been in the club’s mind as a potential replacement.

That is as much to do with his personality as anything else with the 58 year old Portuguese boss being perceived as hard work and often a man with whom it is difficult to work.

Iur source said: ” Absolutely not an option.”
