ClaretandHugh is thrilled to announce that the contract which will make Manu Lanzini a West Ham player for eight million euros has been signed by the Al Jaziera club officials and the player himself.

Karren Brady will be responsible for putting the club’s signature on the deal at the end of the season when the Irons will take over the two years left on the contract and add a further four years to it. The deal will happen.

We learned today that the inspirational Argentine has agreed everything on offer and will be a Hammer at season end in a deal which represents a triumph for recruitment director to the board Tony Henry.

Tony spotted and tracked the player, brought him to the attention of the club and is for bringing Manu to the West Ham ‘party.’

A major source told ClaretandHugh exclusively: “The deal is done and awaits our signature. It is 1,000 per cent rock solid and it’s all in our favour with the club and player agreeing and signing to us buying out the contract and agreeing another four years on top of that.

“We have been asked why we aren’t doing the deal now and the answer is simple. There’s no need to take any chance on him suffering – GOD FORBID – a major injury. He’s ours and it’s a triumph of negotiations. He’s our player.”
