Slav welcomes back three …perhaps four

|

VictorMosesWestHam-605225Slaven Bilic has confirmed that Victor Moses, Enner Valencia and Joey O’Brien are all fit to play against Manchestr United on Sunday whilst Winston Reid is  also likely to travel.

Moses has been out of action since February 27 with a thigh strain, while an ankle injury has kept Valencia out since February 13.

West Ham have been dealing with a defensive injury crisis in recent weeks, with Cheikhou Kouyate, Michail Antonio and Reece Oxford forced to drop into the back line.

But Bilic said: “Victor Moses, Enner Valencia and Joey O’Brien are back. Winston Reid is back in training today and is looking good. James Tomkins is close to coming back but James Collins is still ruled out through injury.”

  • essexclarets says:

Another coach we were ‘interested’ in before Bilic has bitten the dust.. wally has gone!!! Thats two who has been sacked this season. Not doing too bad with our 5th choice are we… coyi

  • Gaz says:

Awful manager McClaren.Top coach by all accounts but he is a rather inept manager for sure. Was dreading him coming to us 🙂

  • sweetfannyadams says:

Yeah, awful. I remember him referring to Gerrard and Terry as ‘Stevie G’ and ‘JT’ when he was England’s manager. I thought, you t*sser, you’re supposed to be their boss.

  • essexclarets says:

Easy to say now but if we did go for him we would be down there with newcastle fighting for our lives. Good coach sh1te manager. Cant see him getting another job at a big club anywhere. Newcastle are a big club, massive support, one club city, massive stadium. Been in trouble for years though. Everyone who goes there fails, something is going very wrong behind the scenes. Might have left it too late to keep them up, none of the players are playing for the shirt only for the cash. Who ever goes there should buy a massive broom & sweep all the crap out the door. Benitez will not want to manage in the championship so if he gets the job it will be on a 10 game contract.

Yeah they have a real tough task to turn it round. But their fixtures ain’t actually too bad. Many teams to play in & around them.Wouldn’t mind them picking up some results if it sticks Fat Sham in the bottom 3, though I have nothing against Sunderland as a football club to be fair, lol

  • bubs says:

Sooner Norwich escape but they don’t have a good run in,
On paper the player Newcastle have they should be mid table but will any manager turn it around in ten games,
    Pulis could probably do it,
Shelvey is not going to save them that’s for sure,he has had his couple of good games one had to be against us twot

  • canchaz says:

So Benitez turned us down only to finish up in Newcastle. I guess there’s no accounting for taste

  • Hammer Tone says:

But how glad are we now he did turn us down, lol.I don’t blame him going to Real to manage,it was a great move for a manager.Bit of a come down now though.Cant lose though really.Keeps them up-3 yr contract. They go down he leaves if he wants, win, win for him.
