Brave Oggy still wearing a smile

|

oggyhospAngelo Ogbonna has undergone surgery and is ready to step onto recovery road.

The brave central defender who played throughout the first part of the season in pain has received surgery on his knee and is now tweeting from his hospital bed.

His absence was quickly overcome by the arrival of Southampton’s Jose Fonte at a fee of £8 million and although the Italian central defender will be missing until next season he is still wearing a big smile on his face.

At a time when another individual was arrogantly walking out on the club that made his name for him, Oggy’s attitude comes as a real example of how professional footballers should behave.

He tweeted “My surgery was successful Now I’m ready for recovery, supported by those who are always by my side!

All the best from everyone at CandH big man – you are a credit to yourself and this great club. Get well soon.
