Slav & Carroll make young Hammers fan’s life!

|

slav2West Ham manager Slaven Bilic and Andy Carroll went out of their way to make one young Hammers fan’s day at the Rush Green training ground yesterday.

Father Matt Hill wrote on Facebook “Slaven Bilic, what a man!  We took Alf down to then training ground yesterday to try to meet some of the players. We saw them all and was just waiting for Andy Carroll when Slav the came out in his car to go home.

He told us Carroll would be a while as he was doing some fitness work so took Alf in his car, back into the training ground to meet Andy Carroll!

What an absolute star Slav you made his life! I hope he gets to see this post as I couldn’t say thank you enough to him at the time.”

Thats a great gesture from Slaven.Things like this show who the humanbeing behind the manager we have is.It really was out of character him losing it on the touchline the other day since he has been with us and is why some really didnt need to make a big deal out of it by criticising him so much.

It’s not the first time Slav has shown his softer side. During the Southampton game he shouted at a ball boy over something, shortly afterwards he was seen apologising fullsomely to the boy and at the end of the gsme he stopped him as he was leaving the pitch and presented him with his beanie hat. Nice…
