The Hammers have placed a £30 million price tag on Manu Lanzini’s head according to morning reports.

But the club have absolutely no intention of allowing any club to talk with the Argentinian who has been outstanding all season.

And the Hammers have shown over the last few days they are capable of holding onto their best players by signing Michail Antonio to a new deal.

The same may well be coming the way of Manu after a season in which he has shown amazing maturity by growing into the role vacated by Dimitri Payet

The striker signed a deal last summer which runs until 2020 after a season on loan with an £8 million price tag written into the arrangement.

Liverpool made an approach at that time but Lanzini and the club had no hesitation in stitching up the deal which has seen him become a main man at the London Stadium.

Now they are circling again — with doubts over the long-term future of Philippe Coutinho – but the Hammers will brush aside all attempts from Anfield or elsewhere.
