Wilshere reveals his hopes

Jack_Wilshere_warm_up_-_12_Feb_2014_(cropped)Jack Wilshere appears to have put stores of his desperation to join West Ham firmly in their place.

The midfielder has been linked with a move to the London Stadium for months and had been reported as having instructed his agent to get him a deal.

And it has been believed the Irons will be going in for him during the January transfer window given he is out of contract next June.

A fee of around £10 million had even been mentioned but the reality is that the 25 year old clearly wants a new deal with Arsenal.

In an interview with the Mail he says: “ I am doing everything I can to stay fit, training well, so we will see. I am not looking too far ahead.

‘Do I see myself staying? Of course I do. I have always been at Arsenal, I love this club. They have been good to me over the years, I have a great relationship with the boss. He has played me since I was 17. He has put his trust in me since then. We have a great understanding and of course I want to stay.’

Would take him for free on sensible wages but if he does come to WH, i hope they don’t pay a penny for him. He’s a potential injuries minefield!!

Couple of months ago he was still recovering from a broken leg. Why have an option to buy when his contract runs out at the end of the season?
