Slaven Bilic has admitted he has a few injury problems for this evening’s London Stadium game against Liverpool.
“We have a few injury problems. Since the Palace game, Zabalta is suspended, and we have Collins who has been injured for a few weeks now. In the game against Palace, Fonte, and in training we have two injuries that Antonio and Sam Byram so we have altogether 4 injuries plus one suspension.” Slaven told reporters in his pre-match press conference on Thursday.
On the nature of the injuries for Byram and Antonio, Bilic added: “They are both muscle injures, Sam will be out for five weeks and Antonio will be back for Watford so that’s the case for the moment.
“It happened so quick and before Palace game, apart form Collins all of them were fit then with Fonte, Zabaleta and a couple of others like Sam and Antonio. Reid was injured, Cresswell went out in that game because of a dead leg he got against Spurs but they are fit, trained today an should be OK for Liverpool.”
