No approach for Everton midfielder claims coach

|

Tom-Davies-Everton-771410Alan Irvine told reporters that West Ham are not interested in Everton midfielder Tom Davies to his knowledge.

Irvine was replying to a question from a journalist at yesterday’s press conference on whether there was any interest in the 19-year-old Merseyside youngster.

Irvine told the reporter “I know him well, worked with him since he was 13 or 14 and is a really talented player but to my understanding, we have not made any approach to Everton.”

The Daily Mirror has claimed last week that Moyes has drawn up a shopping list at West Ham this month with Everton youngster Tom Davies right near the top.

The report suggested Moyes is willing to offer Davies a bumper pay rise to move to the capital, encouraged by current Everton boss Sam Allardyce not having a reputation for bringing through young players.

I might be wrong but I think he’s a midfielder not a defender.

  • It is a fair and valid point 😉 amended

I would like Tom Davies but even if they would sell will want £20m plus so why not Dendockner, Tom Cairney, James Madisson, Go for Frenkie De King who would be prefect.

Hope we start making some progress I would really like to being in at least 1 Mid & if sell CF then & another.

Or Ward Prowse. Chances of getting young talented players from rival clubs in January are hard & Everton don’t need money.
Be better if won’t bid go for Loans like Grujic or loads that Chelsea have Charley Musonda or Lewis Baker.
