Four managers available to replace Moyes

|

West Ham will take the next ten days to decide on who their next manager will be next season. Although many supporters want a change of manager, that is on the proviso that the replacement is an improvement on David Moyes and not just more of the same or worse.

Below are four experienced and successful managers who should be available this summer. They won’t come cheap and they would want large transfer budgets and no interference but to land one of these would be a massive sign of intent.

Luis Enrique won the treble with Barcelona in 2015. He didn’t take a job in the 2017/2018 season but is hotly tipped to return to football this summer and wants a fresh challenge.

Carlo Ancelotti has been out of work since being sacked by Bayer Munich last September. He said he was planning 10 months rest meaning he could be ready to resume his management career this summer.

Laurent Blanc has been out of work since leaving PSG in 2016 after winning three titles for them.

Unai Emery contract with PSG finishes on 22nd May and he has been heavily linked with both West Ham and Arsenal.

Why should we be looking for a replacement , Sean ?. Makes no sense to me . We are a small club and should be grateful for what we have . Still in the Premiership with a great chance to improve under Moyes . Some people are never happy with what they’ve got .
Try being positive for once .. might make you happier . After all the problems we have suffered these past two years with Ground change and a injury list longer than the River Nile I am very happy to finish 13th . Moyes made that happen so give credit where it is due .

      Are you having a larf?
West Ham a small club? I dont think so. Barnet is a small club, so are Brentford. Not the Hammers. In world’s top 20 of richest clubs, with attendances averaging 56k. How does that equate to “small”?
Being positive is looking to attract a top quality manager, something we deserve after years of mediocrity. We may not necessarily get one, but with a small minded mentatlity, you will get another serving of mediocrity !

We are a small club . Lots of history yes , but small nevertheless . Get real .

Totally agree Andy ..don’t think a small club could bang in 60 thousand fans at home games every other week ..Sullivan spending power is small club syndrome he needs to stump up this summer or there will be a fair bit of trouble again..as for the manager..I was happy for moyes to have a go but if not Howe or Benitez for me ..

I’d be hugely surprised if any of those four even considered us. Really can’t see any of those being up for the challenge of working with our Board and taking the Club forwards.

I think Sean may have had trouble typing with tears of laughter in his eyes on this one, perhaps we should have included Lord Lucan and Shergar in the list, certainly about as likely 😉

I want whatever Sean had for Breakfast today. Forget scrambled eggs, it looks like it’s scrambled your reality! We have more chance of Nelson getting his eye back and he’s been dead 200 years

Can you honestly see any of these 4 joining West Ham?,Even Pellegrini is a long shot. Its between Moyes,Marco Silva or Fonseca me thinks.
