Bookies have Irons confidence but what about the fans?

|

The nation’s bookies are offering long odds against the Hammers being relegated with early defeats not denting their confidence at all.

It’s possible to get as long as 15/2 against the drop but what do the fans think. Here’s the response of some at the ClaretandHugh Facebook Group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/363174467150521/

O No problem at all we will be fine.
17th maybe?
O Will Pellegrini last the season? Good bet two games in and talk of MP going, get a grip.
O I didn’t think we would struggle like we have done in our first two games ahead of the season. We have time but it’s easy to get left behind in this league.
O Still sticking to my original prediction. Seventh.  After 64 years as a fan can’t stop being optimistic now.
I’d be happy with 16th – this is going to be a transition season, change is never easy, massive change is painful and difficult – keep the faith!
O I  have read words like “pivotal” and “critical” used for this week’s fixture with Arsenal,so it would seem that the other 37 games are of less importance.Anyway as I recall did we not lose the first 3 games of last season, albeit away from home?
