Yesterday, West Ham announced the season ticket renewal deadline of 5 pm on Friday 17 May with price rises ranging from 8% to 90% for the majority of London Stadium supporters with a minority having their ticket frozen again.
Those who want to take advantage of the club’s payment plan have an earlier deadline of Friday 26 April by which they must decide to pay in instalments.
Last year West Ham’s renewal rate at the London Stadium was nearly 92% beating the previous season’s 90% figure which was the first season at the London Stadium.
There are thought to be 54,000 season ticket holders at the London Stadium after capacity was increased to 60,000 earlier this year. Of those 3,600 are Club London corporate members whose prices were fixed for the first three years.
Season Ticket prices remained frozen for the first two seasons so this will be the first big test of how price increases could affect loyalty and renewal rates.

For me, I’ll renew as I have done for 30+ years, but I won’t spend another penny in the Club shop or at the ground. The fact Brady feels no explanation is necessary simply shows she doesn’t actually care about the fans, all she’s interested in is selling her 60,000 seats!
Yep … I’ll be renewing but quite gutted my sons ticket has risen from £99 to £490 now he has turned 16 and in full time education for the foreseeable.. I do understand the commercial stand of the club, but the reality is that those kids still at school and in full time education should catch a break as far as season ticket pricing is concerned.. a flat ‘Student rate’ could be introduced, with proof of status submitted on renewal.
