Sebastien Haller is keen to join the Hammers and the club are deeply involved in negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt over the terms of payment.
English-speaking Haller has made up his mind that a move to the Premier League is the next stage of his career and a highly placed source inside the club have told ClaretandHugh they consider the chances now better than 50/50.

You need players who want to be here even 3 rd or 4 th choice better then forcing someone one here.

Centre half is about bottom of our priorities behind strikers full backs and central midfielders especially if obiang goes. Besides Diop, Balburna, Ogbonna Reid and Rice as emergency cover is sufficient for now.

Fornals was the perfect transfer. 2-3 days after we first heard about it, we signed him. Every other deal seems needlessly complicated. I’m sure there’s far more to it that we know, but as a fan it hurts my head. If he’s our man, lets not drag this out like Gomez. The key difference is he supposedly wants to join us which probably means, he wants to join a half decent Premier League side. How long before Everton or Man Utd come in for him? This deal needs to get done fast.
I’m sure the Fornals deal was complicated too, we just didn’t hear about it until late.

I have no doubt it took longer than 2-3 days, but it wasn’t public and when it became public, it was already over the line. The will he / wont he ever changing ‘news’ just does my head in. I wish they were all as quick or as private as the Fornals deal.
