Manuel Pellegrini believes Carlos Sanchez and Andriy Yarmolenko have a big part to play in West Ham’ season telling WHUFC.com “They are two important players, Carlos is the only replacement we have for Declan Rice and he is working very hard to recover his performance that he had before his injury.
“Andriy was nine or ten months without playing one game, so maybe we need some time to fix all the players in their current positions.”
On the new summer signings, the manager admits to the club website they still need to be integrated adding:
“We need to integrate Fornals, we need to integrate Haller and Ajeti so that we have different options and that will be positive, but maybe we need more games to see the best way to play”
West Ham face Watford away at the weekend where five players should be included in the matchday squad if fit.
The more he speaks, the doubt in me that he is the right man for the job rises. Sanchez is obviously TOTALLY inadequate as a Premier League footballer, he doesn’t see it, Wilshire will ‘get better.’ Christ
What’s he meant to say, Sanchez is crap? Perhaps a manager has to be more diplomatic than fans because these are players we have to rely on.
