How we rated the Irons against Bournemouth

|

Hugh hands out his marks

Fabianski: Went off early holding his thigh after clearing. Little to do before that but fingers firmy crossed it’s not serious 5

Fredericks: Has grown into the right back role very well and was effective at front and back 7

Diop: Always looked in control despite some great movement from King and Wilson at times 7

Ogbonna: Ditto above 7

Cresswell: Good to see the long time Hammer coming back to prime form and another beautiful strike for the equaliser 7

Rice: Superb… never wasted a ball and was all over the midfield. Loved everything about his game today 9

Noble: Clearly enjoying his more forward role with Dec doing the covering job. Always trying to break stuff up and get the team moving. 7

Yarmolenko: Outstanding at every level. Great goal and a big hand in the second. Always on the move and causing real issues. 9.5

Fornals: Solid if unspectacular. He’s adjusting to the pace and will be a fine addition 6.5

Anderson: Always making himself available and some exciting and unselfish running and general contributions 7

Haller: Once again doing all the donkey work up front and was never muscled out of it. 7

Subs:

Roberto: Big worries at the start when clearing straight to Bournemouth players twice and putting another into touch. But made one very fine save and certainly let nobody down 7

Wilshere: Ran around a lot 5

Lanzini: Always exciting to watch but with only 23 minutes on the pitch this was a fitness gig rather than anything much else. 6
