Our next boss – craziest suggestion yet

|

The fact that it’s not going to happen doesn’t appear to be stopping the regular speculation surrounding Manuel Pellegrini’s job and who may be ready to claim it!

However, the latest report from the often crazy Sun claims that a certain TONY PULIS is waiting anxiously by the telephone waiting for a call from either the Hammers board …or apparently Southampton will do if we aren’t interested.

Tony Pulis – a long forgotten name – is actually a really nice bloke with whom I became quite matey a few years ago at Plymouth Argyle but manager of my club -oh dear I think not.

Tony has a back catalogue which includes managing 10 clubs, most latterly Middlesbrough, West Brom, Palace and Stoke.

Pulis is a fire fighter – that’s what he does-  and the idea of him becoming the next Irons manager is about as far removed from reality as it gets. Crazy!

However, for the record The Sun reports: “Pulis is hoping to get the West Ham or Southampton job. He is delaying his managerial return because he wants a gig in the top flight.”

Don’t hold your breath me old son!
