Looks like 2 out of 3 fans say yes to Moyes which considering the huge amount of alternatives is a glowing endorsement if you ask me.

    • Neil says:

What ever happened to us being the best fans in the world?
I think we’ve become the 2nd biggest bunch of whingers next only to Arsenal fans this club will never progress without us getting behind our team through thick and thin ⚒
Obviously not the most inspirational acquisition but it’s time to get 100% behind Moyes and our squad
      COYI’S ⚒⚒

      • Piers Mansfield says:

Well said couldn’t agree more if we’re not care we will become as toxic as arsenal what’s next abusing players so badly nobody wants to come to us 🤷

  • Stuart Miller says:

I do not support the appointment of Moyes, but also I won’t be protesting about him re-joining us!
I will back him until he proves he is not worthy of my backing!

  • Mikey says:

If majority = no, next poll: who do you want instead of Moyes? Hughton, Pulis, or BFS? Get real, ain’t no other candidates. Time to move on, and support the new man. Got to accept our reality. Underperforming Mid-table team.

    • HammerJK says:

Spot on. By all means dream of bigger things but don’t let those dreams affect your reality. In truth a decade without relegation is progress for our club

  • Vagabond says:

    No

  • Steve says:

Look we need someone who can stop us going down
We must stop believing we are anything but an ordinary club playing in a top half league with 6 elite club’s
That the rest of the prem league won’t ever get anywhere near.

We just need a level headed manager tactically aware who will help us compete with the Lower half of the table.
    We

Whilst I do appreciate these opinion polls and enjoy reading others opinions, and the articles written, at the end of day Moyes has signed and its official. I don’t necessary agree with it but can understand why the board has appointed him. I will continue to support west ham till the day I die. Win, lose or draw it doesn’t have a real effect on my life. Win, lose or draw, I still have to get up for work and pay my bills. I understand others complete frustrations and rants but you realise that it doesn’t effect you personally at the end of the day so carry on giving your full support regardless of whoever is in charge and COYI

  • Pacific Claret says:

Sad to see that we don’t even talk about trying to aim high. Leicester was a mediocre team and look where they are now. They did it by having a plan and good management. So, why can’t we?

Why bother moving into a big stadium to be mediocre?

    • Benny the Oz says:

Totally agree. Leicester & Wolves we’re behind us a few years ago and boom we are behind and we are a London Team who should be bossing it and have higher turnover and success.

  • Hollywood Hammer says:

I didn’t want Moyes, but there is not much of a better choice out there right now.Its bad timing.I feel like we should’ve kept Moyes on, instead of replacing him with Pelle. The thing is,who could have predicted a successful manager in his day to downward spiral us into oblivion.I was as iexcited by his appointment as everyone else, especially when we were in 3rd and 4th place. What did go wrong.I just hope Moyes gets it right.I don’t dislike him.I thought He was disrespected by the board and it takes a big man to come back a second time.

    • Graham Watts says:

If you look at David Moyes career he was great at Everton and developed young players from academy into first team. At Man U not given time to do that and look what has happened since with Solsjar now doing that at long last!
The current situation should be a warning, past it star managers and players end up in China. They should stay there!!

  • Neil Down Under says:

I didn’t want Moyes to go last time around, always felt he could build a balanced squad that would be strong in all departments.
That said, I was excited when Pellegrini was appointed.
Hopefully Moyes will get a fair crack of the whip this time.
I also didn’t expect to be in a relegation fight this season either!

  • Whammer1 says:

He is here because he is the pick of the bunch of those available OR INTERESTED in us .Pooch is on time out in Argentina and being touted by Madrid so in reality he is the best out there at the moment. .let’s get behind him and the team and we might just get a respectable second half of this season then see what happens next seasonCOYI

  • Benny the Oz says:

I would of liked a bit more ambition or try something new. It’s always 2 steps forward and 10 back.
I said on another post Ange Postecoglou would be excellent. He one the J LEAGUE title with little funds and with a club who has been average. Wenger came from this league and look what he did. Ange has a bit in his time and has transformed countless clubs but no let’s all be Euro snobs.

  • Cobblestone says:

Always enjoy hearing from the “Anybody but” ______ squad. I just checked “Anybody but’s” CV and he can’t win a game in Lichtenstein’s second division.

  • Togstr says:

    No, not at all.

He did such a bad job last time, so we have the job to someone else.
    Talk about cheapgoats.
Better options are around, and I’m not talking about dinosaurs like bfs or Pulis.

We will go down, and I envy our owners a life in mediocrity in the championship. Just sell the club, you won’t be missed.

  • Hammer64 says:

They did it mainly by getting a very rich owner Pacific. The money has to be well managed of course. You can still be Burnley without money (& will they still be PL in 5/10years?) but you can be Leicester or Wolves (let alone Liverpool, City or Chelsea) without money. People make it complicated & think a genius manager can turn it round but it’s mainly about money. Crikey-even Grant & Pellegrini did ok at clubs with loads of dosh.

  • Hammer64 says:

Can’t be Leicester etc without money. Can’t be…

    • Saul says:

Nonsense. Who have Leicester and Wolves bought for the millions that we haven’t spent? Facts, not opinions, are important.

  • tom says:

moyes it is then, so we can forget about next level .,just some one in so we can survive in prem again.
next level was just a smoke scene, to cover up moving to an athletics track

  • Pop Robson says:

Come on David show the fans that you’re the best choice for manager by going out in January and getting us a LB / RB / DCM / Striker and all for the cost of an ice cream on Southend sea front

  • Nic Miles says:

How can anyone say Yes? when the board previously sacked Moyes or not being good enough and he has the worse ever loss ration record. It’s a joke, embarrassing and I can only imagine the Russians have interfered with this poll! GSB have just got to go!!!

  • tom says:

spot on hammer 64, its all about money, thats why we will never get to the next level, because our two scrooges just want to do everything on the cheap.
the only way we will get to the next level is when these two sell up , then maybe we will be bought by somebody with far more money than these two are prepared to spend

  • simon says:

Odd result of this poll, maybe people here are more optimistic than most. The KUMB poll, for example has 75%+ against the appointment of Moyes.

  • smudger says:

Must be some seriously deluded fans out there. I always thought that Moyes did a pretty good job managing Everton and never understood all the crap that was slung his way. It’s about time that people woke up to see what WHU is – a mid-table, under-performing club that promises much. but delivers little other than flirting with relegation. As has been said above in other comments we don’t exactly have a great deal to choose from. About time we gave Moyes a chance to develop the quad he’s inherited and see if he can keep us away from the drop. We could have done a lot worse.

  • tom says:

been a westham supporter for over 60 years , i know a lot of westham supporters and most of them are against the moyes appointment, so dont know where all this support for him on here is coming from ?

  • Northdevhammer says:

I find the outcome of this poll In favour of Moyes difficult to understand. Have spuds supporters infiltrated this site?
