Adrian has given an interview to Spanish daily newspaper Marca about his call up to Spain.
Adrian told Marca: “After completing training with West Ham I saw that my mobile had 300-odd Whatsapp messages and thousands of calls from people wanting to congratulate me. Going to the Premier League changed my life. England is where I’ve made a name. When you go on the field people are with you and support you.”
Adrian wrote on his twitter account “Very happy to get my first call up to spanish squad @sefutbol Thanks to everyone always support me💪🏻🇪🇸”
Adrian has posted pictures of himself training on international with the captions. “New challenges, Hard work 🇪🇸💪🏻 Good training, Unbeatable atmosphere, Great group!”
Adrian is unlikely to start or play any part in Spain’s world cup qualifier unless De-Gea suffers an injury.
