France coach Didier Deschamps’ preliminary squad for the European Championship touched down in Biarritz yesterday as the host nation began preparations for this summer’s tournament.
The squad will spend five days on the Atlantic coast after Deschamps, who is from nearby Bayonne, chose the Stade Aguilera, which is home to local rugby team Biarritz Olympique, as the venue for their opening sessions.

Gamiro one of the reserves just tore Liverpool to shreds in the Europa league final proving what a poor side they are and how inept defensively they are, good news about that though is if we do somehow manage to qualify for Europa we won’t have to worry about competing with them (Liverpool) in the transfer market.
