Allardyce: We wont pull FPL punches against Everton

|

samallardyce-cropped_o5z7qav742vd1nm9ev6q0oyyrSam Allardyce has revealed that no punches will be pulled when the Hammers meet Everton at the weekend.

With the Toffees just a place behind us in third in the Fair Play League there have been suggestions we might ‘take it easy ‘ in challengses.

But – like David Gold on Twitter – manager Sam Allardyce has dismissed any suggestions that tackles will be anything less than 100 per cent.

He said: “. “I am not going to start telling players to watch what we do because we might not finish number one for the European Fair Play place, it is ‘go out there, play your best and make sure you win’.

“If you do that the right way you will hopefully still be in the same position in the Fair Play. “Our position is to try to get 50 points or better and finish in the top half where we have been all season. It will be very disappointing for me if we don’t manage that.”

“I won’t look at it that way. I don’t want to know if we get less cautions than Everton, I want to go out there and beat them. “I am not going to start telling players to watch what we do because we might not finish number one for the European Fair Play place, it is ‘go out there, play your best and make sure you win’.

‘go out there, play your best and make sure you win’. Does the genius want us to believe this has been his mantra all along? How does this play with his respect the point philosophy? Maybe it turns out he’s a flawed genius or it could be he’s a deluded arrogant one tactic dinosaur,I know which one I believe.

We will get some sort of result this week because they are worse than us,
At least we will learn more about Burkes ability when he comes up against another very good centre forward, something we don’t seem to have or does not fit are system,
