Alvarez joins in with fan banter

|

Suspended Edson Alvarez was present in the front row of the London Stadium West stand middle tier last night.

The Hammer was watching his teammates from the stands for the full ninety minutes as West Ham drew 1-1 with their Premier league rivals.

Alvarez showed his appreciation as supporters sung his name in the first half and showed his sense of humour when he stood up as West Ham fans sung ‘Stand up if you hate Tottenham’  with a massive grin on his face during the second half.

The 26 year Mexican was serving the second of a two match ban for receiving ten yellow cards this season but will be available for selection again this weekend against Wolves.

Injured Alphonse Areola watched the game from home on TV posting a video on social media of himself with his family celebrating Kurt Zouma’s equaliser.

Areola is suffering from a groin strain which David Moyes insists is not too serious and he could return very quickly his manager insists.
