Anderson – fans have their say

|
Felipe Anderson produced a shocker yesterday before being subbed and as a hugely expensive ‘marquee’ signing such a performance is bound to raise temperatures.
Here’s what some ClaretandHugh Facebook members made of his display.
O I don’t see £42 million in him. But I give him a few more games before I really make my mind up.
O Reckon he should play number ten, he can’t defend puts to much pressure on the full back
O Lazy can’t make a simple pass and is brushed off the ball far too easy . Thought this all season not just today
O Not worth the money
I want him to go for it more , attack the full back , he cuts back I side to much for me .
O He’s clearly a confidence player with a load of tricks up his sleeve , if they don’t come off its looks awful.
…he was poor today though and deserved to be subbed .
O We were crying out for a ‘marquee’ signing. He’s it! Did we get value for money or  is it still too early to call. I believe he does have something to offer, but maybe not where he’s playing.
O Personally, I like him, just not sure he understands how much work he needs to put in for the Prem.
much better going forward!
One week everyone’s saying he’s the worst signing, then saying he’s the best and then he’s the worst again – what are we like, honestly!

Anderson is a quality signing, I have been extremely happy with him. The absence of a top midfielder and a ball playing 10 is affecting his game imo.

He gave the ball away more than Noble yesterday. He was also very lazy out of possession and very light weight in it.

I thought he tried hard, he had one of those days when everything went wrong but we all have them from time to time don’t we ?
