Arnautovic fitness update

|

Marko Arnautovic is tonight reported to be part of Manuel Pellegrini’s squad for the match against Spurs tomorrow despite appearing to be limping in a training video released on the official site.

The video sees Arnie clear the ball on the training pitch and then appear to hobble away but sources inside the club are unaware of any problems with the top man.

We were told that he is in the squad and likely to take his place in the side for the match tomorrow afternoon.

Our understanding is that the manager has named the same match day squad as the one he took to Brighton and Hove Albion which  would see the following players involved:

Fabianski, Zabaletta, Balbuena, Diop, Masuaku, Rice, Noble, Anderson, Obiang, Yarmolenko, Arnautovic, Snodgrass, Antonio, Cresswell, Fredericks, Perez, Ogbonna, Adrian.

We understand that Frady Diangana is with the first team squad but won’t make it onto the bench for the game.
