Record signing Marko Arnautovich has pledged that the Irons will turn their season around declaring the club and all the people involved deserve better..
Speaking to the official site he said: ” I came here because, and I will say this always, West Ham is for me a big, big club with big history and good players and we shouldn’t be where we are.
“The club and all the people who are involved with it deserve better, and we players need to show the people who come to the stadium late in the evening, or even cancel their work to come and support us, that we will fight for them, for the club and fight for ourselves.
“We have played 14 games and we have another 24, so it’s a lot of games to go and we can change things around. We need to be proud to play for this club and we need to put our hands together and go into this together, not only the players but the fans, the club, everybody.
You play eleven against eleven, human against human and they are also just human beings like us. Of course City are a top team with amazing, world class players but if we stick together and we try to do something in the game, we can get something.
“We have to think positively and you have to go into the game with the mindset that you’re going to win this game, or take something out of it.
“I want to change this situation around, I want to do way better. I’m getting there now, I’m fit and I hope I can give this back with goals and assists because that’s what everybody wants from me.
“I came here for a lot and the expectation is high for me. I want to show this, I don’t want to put myself in the corner and say ‘no, I can’t do this’ or go home and cry because I’m not putting in the performances.
“I’m strong, I train hard and I want to change things around. I want to do it with this club, with these people and everyone who is involved at West Ham United.”

But haven’t been seeing it on the pitch. And that’s where it counts not in sound bytes.
I like Arne, he has been our best player since Moyes has taken over – I could not understand why he was subbed the other night. I believe we need him, Lanzini and Antonio on the pitch at all times.

Any more players want to tell us “we must do better”, “we will work harder”, “we can turn it around” etc etc
When are they going to stop talking about it and actually do it where it matters, on the pitch? It’s really time for them to shut their mouths and do it, we are tired of the talk.
Every time players start saying these deceptive things we are fooled into believing them .
According to me I am the best player the World has ever seen , problem is it’s only every other six months for 90 mins . I’ve said it time & time & time again ; these players need to shut up and get on with it instead of talking the big game . We turn up every weekend in support but most of THEM Players are still on the bus at kickoff .
Nice words and full of good intent , I’m sure but , words don’t count for much without getting those very expensive boots working . You are new to West Ham , Anautovic and you still don’t understand the frustration surrounding the Club we love . Give everything you have on Sunday instead of rolling around with a bent thumb and maybe we will believe you .
One good game amongst 36 is not enough by any stretch .
Getting really really really fed up with players giving the biggun every time we cock up , or get a surprise result . For me Leicester was a surprise result ,,,l wasn’t expecting the other surprise against Everton . Thought maybe we had started to sort things out ,,, but no .
4 – 0 was horrible and it wasn’t the first time other teams have recovered Thier form against a very very very poor lack luster West Ham . I , and I’m sure most fans feel the same . FFS soert it out and play some Football,,,, all of you . I refuse to pick on individual players ( have said so many times ) because it’s a team game . Strength’s and weaknesses like any other team but ,,, please give the Shirt and Badge more respect with the megga bucks you get paid for playing FFootball .
