Big chance for much needed changes against Forest

David Moyes has now revealed who is and isn’t available for the game at Nottingham Forest and has a big chance to ring some needed changes from the team thrashed by Arsenal.

Big chance for much needed changes against Forest

I am personally looking forward to his possible return to the starting eleven although barely counting on it given his long absence from the team.

Instead, I would hope to see Danny Ings and Jarrod Bowen up front with Mavropanos partnering Angelo Ogbonna at the back and Aguerd on the bench for emergencies.

Skipper Kurt Zouma has been in poor form and needs to be benched whilst it would be worrying to see Kalvin Philips involved from the start given his form thus far since his arrival on loan.

This would be my team and the formation would be 4-1-3-2: Areola; Coufal, Mavropanos, Oggy, Emerson; Alvarez; Soucek, Ward-Prowse, Kudus; Bowen, Ings.

This has to be a game where we are on the offensive. There can surely be no case for a defensive set up against a 16th place team struggling like us for a win.

I am a tad fearful because despite their poor recent record Forest have some of the quickest and most mobile forwards in the Premier League. Let’s hope they don’t catch fire big time.

They remain without Chris Wood due to a hamstring injury thank heavens whilst  Gonzalo Montiel missed the loss to Newcastle.

Decisions will need to be made on Serge Aurier, Ibrahim Sangare, Willy Boly, Ola Aina after their recent returns from the Africa Cup of Nations.
