Big striker boost for Slav at Spurs

|

Sakho whamactionDiafra Sakho is fully expected to start or be on the bench when we kick off against Spurs this weekend.

The likelihood is that the striker will be brought on later in the game but we have been assured that he is entirely ready to take his chance. Either way it’s a huge boost for the team and manager Slaven Bilic.

However, the medical staff are taking no chances whatsoever with Andy Carroll who we have been told is probably another two weeks away.

Sakho has been in training with the first team squad all week and our source said: ” He is ready and now it’s down to the manager when and how he uses him at the weekend.

“He is not only in good shape physically he is happy and smiling. It’s great to see him relaxed and so much a part of things again.

“However, nobody is taking a chance on Andy until they and he are 100 per cent he is ok with the return.”
