Bowen makes his best player pick

Bowen’s arrival may see Noble making fewer starts

Jarrod Bowen has named Declan Rice as the best player with whom he has ever played.

It’s an astonishing conclusion from a player who has barely played a handful of matches for the club but he had no problem in making the statement.

He was answering questions from fans on www.whufc. com and when asked immediately declared: “I’ve only been at the club a short amount of time but I’d say @_DeclanRice https://twitter.com/whuIucas/status/1263502200296390656

Bowen can’t wait for the renewal of the season and is looking forward to helping the Hammers steer clear of their precarious current position.
He made it clear he is hoping to provide the magic along with Pablo Fornals declaring: “That is certainly the plan.”
Bowen – signed for £23 million – has been hailed as one of the club’s best signings in many years and looked serious business alongside the Spaniard and loan signing Tomas Soucek.
It’s a situation which could easily see skipper Mark Noble making nothing like the number of first team starts that he has in recent years.
