West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen continues to shine, etching his name in club history and boosting his England ambitions.
In the 2-2 draw against Liverpool, Bowen scored his 16th Premier League goal of the season, his 20th in all competitions. This remarkable feat on his 200th appearance for West Ham equals Paolo Di Canio’s club record for most Premier League goals in a single season.
Bowen’s impact extended beyond his goal. He also provided the assist for Michail Antonio’s equalizer, bringing his total goal contributions for the season to a staggering 30.
The England international is determined to secure a spot in Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2024 squad. He acknowledges the importance of a strong finish to the season and is focused on delivering top performances in the remaining games.
West Ham face an uphill struggle in the race for European football, but Bowen emphasises the team’s clear objective – winning their final three games to secure a fourth consecutive year of European competition.
“I’m probably more disappointed that I missed the last couple of weeks where I would have had chances to score even more,” Bowen reflected after the match. “But I loved every minute of being back out there and scoring is a great return.”
Looking ahead, he emphasised his commitment: “I need to have a big end to the season with what is happening in the summer. All I can do is try and play my A game every week. I wanted to do it today, I want to do it again at Chelsea next weekend and also against Luton before we finish at Manchester City.”

I’d be happy if we beat city and stop them from winning the league, so declan can get his winners medal which he deserves, but my biggest wish is for city to get relagated For ffp. Which the large majority of fans of all clubs wish with the exception of city fans wha are as deluded as some of our fans.
