News this lunchtime that West Ham have got their – or more precisely Nils Koppen has his man – and West Ham have agreed a multi-million deal for their prime winger target who is now in the process of travelling to London for a medical.
Reported by journalist Hans Jorgen Anthony Borchgrevink – and confirmed by Geo on Hammerschat at lunchtime, providing the rumours stack up it means West Ham will have landed one of the more exciting prospects of this window.

Compared with the prospect of signing Reiss Nelson – Nuno’s preference, according to our source – Austbø could be a fabulous addition to West Ham United’s Championship side.
Definitely one for the future, Austbo offers pace and arrives complete with Champions League experience, having scored midweek for Viking in their CL qualifier.
Hats off to West Ham for pushing the boat out (finally!) and going for a more costly, young, promising talent when the easy option would have been a boring, crocked free signing like Reiss Nelson.. We’ll let you know when the price (thought to be around ten mill) and terms are formally confirmed.
Just need Vlad Coufal to bring assuredness at the back and maybe Jamie Vardy to give us potent pace up at the front. Superb additions at relatively low cost.

Which surely means he is NOT a good manager! He is really Nu No-thing Between The Ears. Definitely a slow learner, that’s if he learns anything at all from his mistakes. He’s also Nu No Positivity, Nu No Guts and Nu No Idea of what to do with his team selection, formation, game plan or tactical substitutions. All in all, he is a big NO for me in his competence to be manager of West Ham. Time to go, Nuno!
I’m excited that this seems to be happening but at the same time I’m not sure why we haven’t gone for Chris Rigg at Sunderland. He knows the Championship and could be cover for either wing being left footed on the right wing. He’s getting more game time these days but he’s not been starting. It seems likely that Solomon will be missing at times.
