Calleri scores with a little help

|

Jonathan Calleri made it 3-1 with help from a deflection in the 94th minute to wrap up 3 points for the Hammers at the Riverside this afternoon. West Ham jump up two places to tenth spot on 28 points in the Premier League table for the first time since August last year.

Andy Carroll was forced off with a slight groin strain after scoring two goals in the first half, Captain Mark Noble was also forced off with an injury but the Hammers held on for their second win on the bounce without Dimi Payet or Cheik Kouyate.

Someone should show Calleri how to shoot. His body shape was all wrong and he was side-footing the ball. Luckily they all count. Is that enough to keep him at West Ham for the rest of the season?

I am going to post this here, because I am stunned to read by some fans on other sites that some still think Bilic is not the right man.

His Premier League record with us so far is as follows..

    P 60 W 24 D 18 L 18 F 94 A 87 GD +7 Pts 90

Now personally I think that is pretty damn impressive, more so when you take into account we are playing this season in a brand new stadium as well as our usual poor injury list, shocking refereeing decisions both last season and this and our so called best player throwing a strop.

(Not to mention our great record against the top Premier teams since he has been in charge)

Seems to me that Slaven Bilic is doing a fantastic job and long may it continue.

    IN SLAVEN WE TRUST!!!!

There are some on each forum that I read. Even more amazing is there are still some utter (insert your own word) who hanker after Sam Allardyce.

I am hoping Sullivan offers Slaven a new and improved contract as soon as possible.
