Declan Rice is expected to be fit for the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Hammers skipper has been strongly rumoured as having possibly sustained an injury whilst on international duty when overstretching and could be ruled out for a crucial game.

Declan – yellow carded

He had been believed to have taken a knock in the game against Germany when the Three Lions managed a 3-3 draw after falling behind.

However, although no details of the “injury” have been revealed a key insider told Claret and Hugh that Dec was expected to be fit for a game which could see us rise above the visitors and out of the bottom three.

Our source explained that the medical staff were taking a look at that they were reasonably confident he would be available to take his place in the starting line-up.

As we reported yesterday Ben Johnson has a fifty/fifty chance of making the game.
