CandH Exclusive: Kudus injury update

Mohammed Kudus injury update

West Ham have supplied a Mohammad Kudus injury update.

And it seems highly unlikely the Hammers Number 14 will be involved in the opening Group game for Ghana against Cape Verdi on Sunday given his lack of action over the weekend.

He is in recovering from a slight hamstring problem on Accra – Ghana’s capital city – and the club have told Claret and Hugh exclusively this evening that it will be a week before he has recovered.

He missed tonight’s international warm up friendly against Namibia with our top source telling us exclusively: “Yes, it’s about a week before he can play and train.

“There was absolutely no point given the circumstances that he could be included in a meaningless friendly. We hope he doesn’t play in first Afcon game either as it’s an easy match. We hope he just comes back for the Egypt match next Thursday.”

Ghana complete their Group fixtures against Mozambique on Monday the 22nd of January with the tourney then entering the knockout stage before concluding with the Final on February 11.
