CandH Exclusive: Paqueta injury update

CandH Exclusive by Hughie Southon

Hopes are high that Lucas Paqueta will return to the Hammers side for the match against Nottingham Forest this weekend.

Paqueta has been nursing a shoulder injury he picked up in the game against Chelsea but is recovering well and looking more than likely to appear in the game.

The Brazilian had been looking to be in quickly improving form over recent games and could make a huge difference to our creativc output sadly lacking at Spurs on Sunday.

And with Kurt Zouma, Maxwel Cornet and Gianluca Scamacca spotted in training this week, manager David Moyes could well have more options available to him for the game .

Paqueta had indicated that he could be back quickly on Instagram several days ago but a London Stadium source confirmed this morning that hopes were now high for the weekend.

He explained: “It is looking ok and we are hopeful he will appear against Forest.”
