CARROLL ON LINE FOR WEST BROM GAME

|

ANDYCARROLL Andy Carroll is expected back into first team action for the clash against West Brom on December 28.

The big striker – whose recovery process is still being overseen by assessors from the Belgian clinic where his recovery has been orchestrated – is making great progress.

The assessors though remain at the Chadwell Heath training ground where all the signs are to ensure absolutely no problems.

A source told claretandhugh: “He’s looking strong and after months of running in water and on sand is now training on grass, kicking balls and getting closer.

“Everybody is being careful with any sort of timetable but another week training on his own followed by another with the first team squad will put him in line to hopefully play a role of some sort in the match against West Brom.”
