West Ham v Liverpool

West Ham manager David Moyes has confirmed that Jarrod Bowen is fit and likely to face Liverpool tomorrow.

Moyes seemed surprisingly upbeat given the speculation surrounding him as he addressed the press ahead of the early Premier League kick-off at the London Stadium.

The Hammers’ gaffer certainly didn’t sound like a man on the cusp of losing his job and has demanded a reaction following West Ham’s poor performance against Crystal Palace.

When asked about Bowen, Moyes said: “Jarrod Bowen is back in training, so there’s a good chance he’ll be available. We’ll still need to monitor him.

“We have a couple of issues with centre-halves. Nayef is not available. Dinos has a chance, but we’ll have to see how he is.”

The West Ham gaffer continued, “Palace played well and we didn’t. What we want is a reaction from the players, for them to show what it means to play for West Ham.”

Personally, I will be incredibly impressed if Moyes can elicit a reaction from his players following such a disappointing defeat. However, Liverpool did not look great against Everton in midweek, and with Jurgen Klopp leaving, it could be a good time to play them.
