Bristol City is closely considering its position before making any moves on the FA over the Diafra Sakho affair.
But they have made it clear they are disappointed with the outcome of FIFA Disciplinary Committee’s case against West Ham United and their player Diafra Sakho after the world’s governing body fines the Irons £71,000.
In a statement City said: “The club is disappointed with the penalty handed down by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee and is considering its options.
The club will be making no further comment at this time. ”
However, in an earlier ClaretandHugh article former City and Hammers favourite Leroy Rosenior made it clear the club would be more likely to seek financial compensation than an FA Cup replay.
And a source close to the FA said: “That’s very unlikely as Fifa and the English FA have kept each other fully aware of their positions.
