Collison…Potts…Cole set for summer release!

|

pottsVeterans Matt Taylor and George McCartney look to be the only out of contract summer first-teamers likely to get new deals this summer.

Both could land two year cut price contracts which could see them coming close to ending their careers at the Boleyn.

Although boss Sam Alladyce has yet to finalise his list, ClaretandHugh has learned that the six other out-of-contract stars are set to leave.

Taylor and McCartney will be offered ‘economical’ deals as squad players aimed at keeping them in the big time and out of reach of Championship clubs.

We have been told that young left back Danny Potts could be set to move on along with Joe Cole, Jack Collison ,Jussi Jaaskelainen,  Abdul Razak and Leo Chambers.

We were told: “Sam has to give the okay on everything but I don’t think that scenario is looking unlikely – indeed it looks about right!”
