It wasn’t only a case of trouble on the pitch for the team against Bournemouth yesterday, there was confusion off it as some fans tried to gain access to the ground.
Both myself and grandson were EVENTUALLY let in through a side door to the turnstile after our season tickets failed to let us through.
We weren’t alone and tomorrow we will be trying to find out what the issue is and whether the club can solve it simply.
After journeys from various parts of Britain, the last thing anyone needs is to find they may not be getting into the game and it seems there were many in the same situation.
Please let us know if you were among those who had the same issue so we can put it on the club.
Our new tickets – we relocated over the Summer – worked fine, BUT we were told some of the turnstiles at entrance J “weren’t working”. No explanation was offered however, the one we used was ok. Not heard from anyone else about difficulties getting in.

I also came in through J and it was fine with my ST.
Mine ok too. I relocated to the BML so now enter through ‘J’. No probs this time.
Shockingly bad using J with old tickets and no relocation.My sister tried to get in at 2.30 and then went to the non main ticket office where they operated a bizarrely unfair system of 2 alphabet based queues instead of first come first served.She got into BML two mintues before half time having queued an hour and fifteen minutes.I went to the main ticket office where they had more counters working and a fair first come first served system.I missed about 15 minutes of the game.
My ticket was fine but my kids ticket did not work! Eventually he was let in through a side door. (K block) There was others around us having the same issue..
Just off the phone with the ticket office.. It appears that though the ticket says turnstile K. the ticket was set to turnstiles A-C!! they have now reset to K.. Fingers crossed..
