Maxwel Cornet could make his West Ham debut against Nottingham Forest later today.
The Hammers signed the wing-back from Burnley earlier this week and he could be thrust straight into the team to face the newly-promoted outfit.
The Irons were beaten 2-0 last week by Manchester City, but Pablo Fornals was largely ineffective in his position off the left wing.
Cornet is seen as more of a winger than a full-back and, as a result, David Moyes could decide to give him his debut on Sunday, as the Hammers go in search of their first win of the season.
Forest also lost last weekend, going down 2-0 to Newcastle, and have made a number of changes to their squad, bringing in a huge number of players, including the likes of Jesse Lingard and Emmanuel Dennis.
Cornet would add some real threat to the Hammers frontline, with Jarrod Bowen on the other flank, and potentially, another new signing in Gianluca Scamacca up front.
