Coufal injury update

Coufal

West Ham are set to see Vladimir Coufal return to the side against Everton this afternoon (Sunday).

The Hammers right back missed the Euro League Group A match against Olympiacos in Greece on Thursday evening,

David Moyes described his problem as having felt “some tightness” and thus made the decision to leave the Czech Republic international in London.

Whilst our London Stadium source could not confirm the situation 100 per cent it seems more than likely the right back will be in the starting line up.

That may mean that Thilo Kehrer will slot into the left back position in preference to Ben Johnson unless the manager decides to take a chance on Aaron Cresswell who is clearly not match fit after making just one appearance this season.

It will be interesting to see whether Konstantinos Mavropanos lines up alongside Kurt Zouma at the back in preference to his regular partner Nayef Aguerd.
