West Ham majority shareowner David Sullivan has increased his ownership of WH Holding by 0.4%!
Sullivan increased his shareholding from 51.1% to 51.5% after the recent July rights issue.
Fellow joint-chairman David Gold took up his full allocation of shares and retains his shareholding of 35.1% of the total shares available. American director Tripp Smith also retained his 10% shareholding by buying extra shares for £40,000 each.
The minority shareholders are made up of the Daniel Harris former CEO of Alba, former West Ham Chairman Terry Brown and West Ham Vice-Chairman Karren Brady has diluted their shareholding from 3.8% to 3.4%
It is thought one of the minority shareholders did not take up the rights issue of more shares which diluted the minority share ownership.
Sullivan stepped in and took up the extra shares thereby increasing his over share ownership of West Ham.
The July rights issues injected £30m of cash into West Ham by selling 750 shares worth £40,000 each.
