Declan records a first!

|

Declan Rice’s injury is the first he has suffered since starting in the game!

The brilliant defensive midfielder has a faultless record at all levelsĀ  until this awful injury sustained at international level against Poland.

Club insiders are stunned at the news which has raised big fears that without him being available our European qualification hopes will take a mighty knock.

AndĀ  his mentor and exclusive ClaretandHugh blogger Terry Westley was shocked at the news declaring: “My first thoughts are with Declan. It’s the first time I can recall him ever having had an injury.

You just don’t think about such things happening to him – he will be utterly devastated and I wish him all the very best for the speediest of recoveries. But he will get on with it professionally as he does everything else.”

Dec will be carefully monitored and with no time frame available on the injury at this stage estimates of between 2-3 weeks or up to five out or even the possibility of surgery remain on the table.
