West Ham midfielder Declan Rice had his every move monitored by Claret & Hugh

Declan Rice under the spotlight

25 – Clears away a corner after it pinballs in the box
31 – Receives the ball on the turn from Fredericks and nutmegs Keita before driving forward and playing the ball to Antonio on the right
32 – Makes a sliding tackle on Firmino in midfield but the ball goes back to the Liverpool defence
41 – Anderson whips a free kick from the right and Rice can only guide the ball towards the stanchion
57 – Plays a first time ball across his body out to Anderson on the left in a great attacking position
65 – Tackles Fabinho in midfield and breaks forward before playing a through ball to set Antonio through on goal
90 – Clears the ball away to stop Liverpool breaking

Verdict – 7The sort of performance to which we are now totally accustomed  He partnered Noble fantastically well during the match showing great composure on the ball making great passes and key challenges. There were some weary moments but he was always aware of his surroundings and never found difficulty against Liverpools attack.
