Early Hammers squad news

Anderson had a shocker

Felipe Anderson is fit to return and has been included in the Hammers squad for tonight’s critical game against Watford.

Everton finally did the Irons a favour with a later equaliser  after a shock Villa result was on the cards at Goodison Park last night.

ClaretandHugh has learned that Anderson is in the early squad but unsurprisingly Robert Snodgrass is still on the sidelines after having been unable to train with a back problem during lockdown.

The Brazilian however seems unlikely to get a run out with the team expected to be unchanged from that which beat Norwich on Saturday via four goal Michail Antonio.

That will leave skipper Mark Noble in an a forward midfield role following his top performance and two assists at Carrow Road.

That means the Irons other hugely expensive signing, Sebastien Haller, will again be on the bench as the Hammers bid for a result which would almost certainly ensure Premier League safety and push them above Brighton or join them on  15th place.
