Emerson could win a unique European treble of trophies

West Ham United left-back Emerson will be looking to win a treble of European trophies this season, if the Hammers lift the Europa Conference League  trophy.

The Brazilian-born Italy international arrived at West Ham previously having won both the Champions League and Europa League with Chelsea, as well as the 2021 UEFA Super Cup.

At international level, Emerson was part of the Italy side that beat Declan Rice and England in the final of the 2020 European Championships, further adding to his impressive trophy haul.

He has the opportunity to add to that tally next month, should West Ham reach the final of the Europa Conference League and then win the competition.

By doing that, he would become the first player ever to have won the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League, eclipsing the achievements he completed alongside his former Chelsea teammates that included the likes of Mason Mount and N’Golo Kante.

Now, Emerson will look to become the first player to lift the new-look European trophy treble and we are just three matches away from being able to do that!
