Ex: Zouma may have big problem

|

West Ham central defender Kurt Zouma was reported to have twisted his ankle by David Moyes but it may be an injury which keeps him out of action for the remainder of the season.

That’s according to ExWHUemployee who claimed that to be the case after the player was forced of after 19 minutes into the clash against Crystal Palace.

Angelo Ogbonna his replacement in a match which the Hammers lost 4-3 .

And the 34 year old looks certain now to be involved alongside Nayef Aguerd in the hugely difficult match against Manchester City on Wednesday evening which looks like the least wanted match in hand we could want!

Zouma was then seen leaving Selhurst Park with a protective boot which will be a major worry for David Moyes.

Zouma will have a scan tomorrow (Mon) when the full extent of the problem, or otherwise, should become clear.

Kurt Zouma left Selhurst Park with his left foot in a protective boot having been withdrawn from the game with an injury,” ExWHUemployee wrote on The West Ham Way.

The injury is said to be his left ankle where there is severe swelling and bruising. He will be sent for scans today to determine the severity of the injury but there are growing fears that this could be a season ender.

“At the moment nobody knows the situation until the scans are completed so we hope it will be in fact positive news but of course we will update you as soon as we hear.”
