|

Football - FA Premier League - West Ham United FC v Liverpool FCWest Ham are tonight celebrating another high profile signing after Morgan Amalfitano agreed to remain at the club for another two years.

The Frenchman was the last player to agree a deal in the summer transfer window and after making 22 appearances, the club has agreed a deal which keeps him at the club until 2017

And tonight – speaking exclusively to ClaretandHugh – a thrilled David Sullivan said: ” I’m delighted he’s decided to stay with us for two more seasons.

“Morgan has played at the highest level with Marseilles in the Champions League and he must be one of the best Bossman’s around that are  proven in the Premier League.”

Sullivan has done great business over the last few weeks having nailed down Mark Noble, Winston Reid, James Tomkins and now Amalfitano to new contracts with Diafra Sakho ready to put pen to paper at the end of the season.

I am sure the player would have preferred SA to have been delighted at his signing rather than the Chairman. Perhaps he will team up well with Zarate next season….
