West Ham are not yet ready to accept any loan offers for Jean-Clair Todibo, despite the player having no future at the London Stadium.

Without boring everybody to death by going over the same thing repeatedly, Todibo and Nuno Espírito Santo had a falling out at the end of last season, and the French central defender vowed never to play for the Hammers head coach again.

Not that it particularly matters, because it would appear the feeling is mutual, with Nuno placing the Frenchman firmly on the naughty list and having no plans to use him this season.

West Ham Still Want A Permanent Sale

Todibo did not feature in West Ham’s 3-2 win over Colchester yesterday in a behind-closed-doors friendly.

Ordinarily, that wouldn’t have raised too many eyebrows.

However, two other players who also appear to be heading for the exit door — Niclas Füllkrug and Maxwel Cornet — both featured prominently.

It would therefore seem sensible to assume the club are keen to offload the central defender at the earliest opportunity.

However, Claret & Hugh were informed by a source with close connections to the player that West Ham are still prioritising a permanent transfer rather than a loan.

“There are some options for Todibo to go out on loan but West Ham are waiting for a permanent deal.”

Loan Interest Isn’t Enough

How much the West Ham hierarchy are holding out for wasn’t discussed, but it’s fair to say they are unlikely to recover anywhere near the £35 million paid to Nice for a player whose value has almost certainly fallen.

The biggest obstacle, from a buying club’s perspective, may not even be the transfer fee.

Todibo has now fallen out with Nuno Espírito Santo, Graham Potter and Julen Lopetegui during his relatively short spell in east London.

Viewed in isolation, one disagreement with a manager is hardly unusual.

But when every head coach you’ve worked under at the same club has encountered problems with you, it inevitably raises questions for prospective buyers.

That may ultimately prove to be the biggest hurdle West Ham have to overcome before finding Todibo a new home.

The naughty step is something grand parents do with their grand children.
These are grown men not sure what’s creating this problem ability or attitude.
Believe it’s attitude as Todibo was bought as a very capable defensive player.
Can this be overcome, maybe, answer could be Rui Pedro Silva.
With Nuno and Silva being a well established partnership perhaps he could act as a mediator.
Nuno and Todibo need to climb down maybe keep them distanced if that’s possible.
Whu will lose money selling him but £25m would possible bring Disarsi back.
This has been one a long journey and destination needs to be solved putting Todibo in a bomb squad is not going to work.

Look he’s good on his day , he has value so I don’t blame us for wanting a fee . The days of lowball offers is gone thankfully.
