Crysencio Summerville is expected to return from injury this week and should be available to play this Sunday at Villa Park according to a club source, speaking exclusively to Claret and Hugh this afternoon

He suffered a hamstring injury in the FA Cup game against Aston Villa.

The big news is Jarrod Bowen is expected to return for Chelsea away on Monday 3rd February which will be massive for Graham Potter

He fractured his left foot during West Ham’s 5-0 defeat to Liverpool at the end of last year limping off in the 60th minute.

The remaining injury news is around Jean-Clair Todibo who is suffering from a long-term injury: Our club source expects the defender to be out for another five weeks meaning the centre-back might not be available until 27th February when the Hammers take on Leciester City at the London Stadium, but his return is not guaranteed at this stage.

The West Ham defender was replaced after 53 minutes to the Hammers defeat to Manchester City on 4 January, having picked up an unknown injury.

Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug remain long term injured.

Bowen will only be on bench for Chelsea if anything. I’d rather give him another week, make sure he’s fully healed.

🤞🤞🙏🙏😇😇 I’m sure you can understand this … need them back ASAP ⚒️⚒️⚒️

Would be interesting to have confirmation of the exact terms of Todibo loan which triggers the obligation?! Sounds very suspicious to me. The Mascherano scenario springs to mind. Wouldn’t surprise me at all If this injury drags out until the end of the season….

  • Zahama says:

I thought that with Todibo the obligation to buy clause has already been triggered (I think that it was 5 starts in the PL) – so if he leaves we might well make a loss on that deal as well

These signings are dragging on. Usual Sullivan way. If he loves WESTHAM as much as he says, open check book and get us some strikers. Poor old Jarrod will be doing everyone’s job like Michail Antonio did. 🫨

Just reapeating injuries every day…obviously no where near signing anyone …
What are they doing..you would think that not having one single shot on target at home against crystal Palace would make them think , shi# we need to sort this NOW .
.but its just still scatter gun stories of players with no chance of signing or confidence behind anything positive……has any bids actually been made martin do you know ? ..or is it just enquiring and more talking?

  • Phil Baker says:

By his own words Todibo has never been match fit for Westham . He never wanted Westham and his goal was always Juventus . He’s another waste of money that’ll leave in the summer .

  • Haytham says:

If we are not selling Guillerhme then let’s use him start Aston villa without kudus and have him and Summerville play the wings and paqueta or ings upfront also try to use Andy Irving more he has more pace than rodriguez

    • Kip says:

Totally agree mate..can’t believe they are on about getting rid of him without even giving him a game…..with the awful squad we have you would think , What have we to lose …he has so much pace ..him on the left and Cyro on right ..or vice versa…I don’t get it either bud

  • Hammeroo says:

What’s with the mystery injury to Jean-Clair Todibo? There seems to be a lot of mystery around this player. He also returned to France about it, didn’t he? I originally suspected that his problem was Julen Lopetegui, however Loppy left but still the mystery continues. I assume your reliable source within the club is keeping his lips zipped?

    • John Ayris says:

It’s common for players to return to their own country when recovering from injury, where they can recover there as quickly as they can here.
