FA hit Irons with £50k fine

|

The Irons have been hit with a £50,000 fine and warned over their future conduct following the reaction of players to Mark Noble’s sending off at Liverpool.

Whilst the captain’s red card was overturned the club has been hit with a fine of nearly double what they expected for the behaviour of the players

A statement from the Fa this evening (Fri) reads:”Following an independent regulatory commission hearing, West Ham have been fined £50,000 and warned as to their future conduct after an FA player misconduct charge brought against the club was found proven.

“It was alleged that in or around the 78th minute of the game against Liverpool on 29 August 2015, West Ham failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

“The club had admitted the charge and submitted a plea for mitigation.”

This is an absolute f***** farce, FA basically saying our referee, was 100%wrong but as you protested we’ll show who’s boss, supposing this was last game of season, we got relegated because of a similar bad decision, could we sue FA??

Would love to know where this fine money goes. Also, would love to see the evidence and how it stacks up to player behaviour after ref decisions in every other league match.

£50k! Absolutely mind boggling inconsistency from the FA. It’s so wrong you couldn’t make this up. Someone wake me up.

Just like Terry & Chelski do everytime they have a decision go against them, lol, what a joke. How often do you see them circle the referee with no action taken against them.

Sounds to me lIke a bit of face saving by the FA for having to concede their ref. made an absolute ‘cock-up’ of a decision.

Should cover the lost money they put on Liverpool beating us,
Be a better class of wine at the next meeting,Maybe they could put the money to extra Referee training, maybe weekly eye test,or give to the poor tax payers for buying us a new stadium,
Let’s see what they hand out to the next big explosion of players, should be this week when our 3rd goal goes in from an offside position,or when McLaren objects to 2nd goal
